I'd say Rurouni Kenshin or Shaman King. If I absolutely had to choose between them, Rurouni Kenshin it is.

It also drives me insane with all the flashbacks and shite.
But whatever, at least it's not as bad as One Piece with their 3 minute intro, 2 minute recap, and 5 more minutes of flashbacks leaving only 10-11 minutes-ish to the actual episode.
