    Description:

Pokemon Appearance: Toxice is a giant and spiky floating ball of light purple crystallized ice with a core made of liquidized acid and orbiting rings of slushy half-frozen toxic material that it can sling at the opponent. It has the ability to float into the air using its kinetic abilities and is almost always aglow with a combination of a toxic cloudy aura and a dripping dew-like liquid coating the surface of its icy body.

Pokemon Description: I based this Pokemon's concept off the appearance I crafted for it, and I used Weezing and Glalie's movepools as bases, removed some things, added some things, and then customized the movepool to fit Toxice's appearance. It is a powerful defensive Pokemon, with a decent Special Attack as well. Its typing is a mixed bag, both offensively and defensively. However it is easily able to handle Fairy types and can come in on a surprising amount of attacks in its arsenal due to its liquid nature. It also has a very solid 130 base Defense to tank numerous physical attacks. Let's take a look at a couple of sets.

    Set #1: Utility

    Toxice @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
    Bold Nature
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Spikes
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Glaciate

    Set Description:

This is a simple set up set. Set up your Spikes and Toxic Spikes, then fire off STAB Sludge Bombs to possibly poison the opponent. Glaciate is useful because it slows down numerous Pokemon and it gets nice STAB as well.

    Set #2: Calm Mind

    Toxice @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
    Bold Nature
    - Calm Mind
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Ice Beam
    - Surf / Scald / Thunderbolt

    Set Description:

This set is as simple as it sounds. Boost with Calm Mind, then fire off whatever attacks you deem necessary. Sludge Bomb and Ice Beam are your designated STABS. Surf is another good option here, although you could also go with Scald to utilize that 30% burn chance. Thunderbolt is also another option for you.

    Closing Statement:

These are just two sets I've come up with as a basis, I want you guys to look through his movepool and see what else you can come up with. I'm excited to see what you guys think of Toxice. What tier would he be in? How well do you think he would fair in the metagame? What Pokemon would he counter specifically? Let's get some good discussion on!
