Description:
Eternal Flower Floette was certainly a surprise. It doesn't evolve into Florges and it has its own unique stats and a signature move "Light of Ruin" which is incredibly powerful. It's got an interesting speed tier of 92, shared with Mega Garchomp, Leavanny and Krookodile. Along with this, Fairy type STAB has useful offensive coverage and it has a perfectly adequate movepool. It also has fantastic Special stats, with a Special Attack and Special Defense of 125 and 128 respectively. So it'll hit hard and take Special hits well. Its base 74 HP also contributes to this. Unfortunately it has its downfalls, its normal Attack and Defense are decidedly useless, and while its movepool allows it to do what it needs to do, it's very predictable and can only fill a few niche roles properly.
Set #1: Choice Specs
Floette @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Light of Ruin
- Energy Ball
- Psychic / Wish / Aromatherapy
- Hidden Power (Fire / Ice / Electric / Fighting) / Wish / Aromatherapy
Set Description:
The main point of this set is to massacre anything with Specs STAB Light of Ruin. The other moves are mostly there just for coverage and really won't do you much good. Energy Ball will maim things like Quagsire and Swampert for more than Light of Ruin, Psychic is just there for when Light of Ruin's PP runs out. The various HP's are for specific coverage, although you might just be better off packing Wish or Aromatherapy in either of those slots.
Set #2: Choice Scarf
Floette @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Light of Ruin
- Energy Ball
- Psychic / Wish / Aromatherapy
- Hidden Power (Fire / Ice / Electric / Fighting) / Wish / Aromatherapy
Set Description:
Literally the same concept as the specs set but with a Choice Scarf. Just nuke and run, simple as that.
Set #3: Calm Mind
Floette @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Light of Ruin
- Energy Ball / Wish / Aromatherapy / Rest
- Wish / Aromatherapy / Rest
Set Description:
Boost and fire off Light of Ruin once you're boosted. Floette has a satisfactory HP stat, so with a Bold nature, it will be slightly bulky. Especially thanks to its natural Special bulk as well.
Other Options:
Almost nothing except for a potential dedicated Cleric set. Floette simply does not have the movepool for anything else.
