    Description:

Froslass, once deemed too powerful for UU has now sunk into the depths of NU. It's incredibly hard to see why this graceful ghost has fallen so low, due to its unique offensive typing, expansive movepool and the buff to Ghost type moves. Along with this, many moves in its arsenal have been upgraded, particularly Frost Breath and Wake-Up Slap, which can now be used to full effect. Froslass may suffer from terrible defensive typing and mediocre offensive stats, but if you give its movepool, great STAB combo, awesome ability in Cursed Body and fantastic speed a chance, you won't be disappointed.

    Set #1: Lead Utility

    Froslass @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Cursed Body
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Spikes
    - Destiny Bond
    - Thunder Wave / Taunt
    - Shadow Ball / Ice Beam

    Set Description:

Set up Spikes, if you're going to get killed, use Destiny Bond to take down your opponent with you. Thunder Wave can be useful to cripple anything, or you could use Taunt instead. The last slot is dedicated to one of your STAB moves. Shadow Ball or Ice Beam. It's a pretty simple set that's only gotten better over time.

    Set #2: Choice Specs

    Froslass @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Cursed Body
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Shadow Ball
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Trick / Switcheroo

    Set Description:

Simple attacking set. Your two STABs provide great coverage, especially now that Shadow Ball now does neutral damage to Steel types. Thunderbolt is good for maiming multiple Pokemon that your STABs won't touch as well, such as Milotic or Moltres. Trick is for passing your Specs onto a Pokemon that would get crippled by it.

    Set #3: Physical

    Froslass @ Life Orb
    Ability: Cursed Body
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Ice Punch / Ice Shard
    - Crunch / Sucker Punch
    - Wake-Up Slap
    - Thunder Wave / Destiny Bond

    Set Description:

Somewhat of a niche set that nevertheless has its uses. It primarily helps that Wake-Up Slap was buffed, as Froslass can now maim Steel and Normal types that would come in to maim it with their wide arsenal of moves. Ice Punch is your designated STAB, although Ice Shard could be subbed out for priority. Crunch is another great move that was buffed, but you could also run Sucker Punch instead. Thunder Wave should take up the last slot for stopping certain Pokemon in their tracks, but you could also run Destiny Bond instead.

    Other Options:

So many other options. In terms of attacking options, Froslass could actually work well on a Rain team for two reasons. Thunder and Weather Ball. Having access to a 100 BP Water Move and a 120 BP 100 accurate Thunder is an absolute blessing, especially in the NU metagame. Frost Breath has been buffed up from 40 to 60 BP. While this may seem to make it inferior, you have to remember that Froslass gets STAB on it, and it has a 100% chance to critical hit. Meaning that you can use it to break through the defenses of something that has managed to set up on you. As for support options, Confuse Ray and Torment are both absolutely evil moves that you can abuse maliciously.
