300 million years ago: An ancient version of Genesect was born. Kabuto and Kabutops lived in the sea.
Around the time of Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar and all of the other fossil Pokemon resides something that hadn't been found on its own. Ancient Genesect. Genesect was brought back and upgraded using machinery, however this begs the question. What would Genesect's stats / appearance have been like if it was just revived via the normal fossil process like every other fossil Pokemon? What would its typing have been? Would it have had as good of a movepool as it does now?
